At Lead, we want to be an avenue of success for you!

We have been working with Lead for almost one year. It started with our faculty and staff going through the same program as our students. We needed to be able to walk the talk with our students. And it helped our team at the campus get to know each other better and become a stronger, more cohesive team. These insights have helped us to better understand the needs of our students and take action to resolve gaps. Our students have shared with us that after the sessions, they feel more cohesive as a cohort, they care for each other and realize they are not alone in their journey. Lead has helped Davenport University deliver on our purpose to “inspire, mentor, and engage students.”

Lead has positively impacted my life in so many ways. I have struggled with depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, and lack of confidence. Being a part of Lead has allowed me to step out of my comfort zone and grow in my own self love journey. My confidence has increased, I am willing to share my story and connect with others, I have gained new friendships and I continue to learn new ways to love myself and find my passion and purpose in life. Lead also provides a way for me as a teacher to empower the teens in the GLBR region to have confidence, to love themselves for who they are, to be kind to everyone, and to empower others to do the same.

Lead's 'Passion, Purpose, and Goal Setting' workshop helped me to dig back into my passions, my purpose, and my goals for myself. A lot has changed for me. My life, my ways of health, becoming a mom through adoption, and changing career paths. It is really easy to start to feel lost. Through this workshop, I was so glad to connect with other people who are also searching for the same things: their passion, their purpose, and reconnecting with who they are outside of their work role. It really allowed us to dig into what we really enjoy, who we really are, and to reconnect those pieces of ourselves. I cannot say enough good things about this workshop; being able to dig into our core values and set realistic goals made it feel so much more tangible and doable. To know that we are more than enough. We are capable of more than we think we are. Lead helped me build confidence in my goals, my purpose, and my passion for myself. That will shape me, my future, and the future of my family.
