How Much Does One Person Have To Go Through Until Enough Is Enough?
A message to the good people forced to deal with the bad.
Every day, it seems like more and more bad news is overpowering the good. People with bad intentions seem to outlast those with genuine intentions. Good people continue to be tested time and time again. Eventually, the idea of this becomes infuriating. The genuinely kind people in this world get more taken away while those with bad intentions reap the rewards.
I know a couple of people who have seen more sadness in the time I’ve known them than anyone should experience in a lifetime. I continuously wonder why God chooses the people he does.
How much does one person have to go through until enough is enough?
I do believe God tests the people he trusts.
We could never appreciate health until we’ve experienced sickness, and we could never appreciate happiness until we’ve experienced sadness.
To the people who continue to be challenged:
Be strong when you can, be weak when you need to. It might not seem like it some days, but you are capable. You will not be given anything you can’t handle, and you will find your way through to the other side.
When you lack hope and lose faith, remember that God has a plan.
Even though I don’t have the answer to why good people suffer, I try to believe there is a method or a reason. Life will never be fair, and while there is so much bad in the world, I’ve come to realize there is still so much good. Make an effort to find the good in today. Open the door for the person behind you, say hello to a stranger, smile to show someone you care. Time is borrowed, don’t sacrifice it to anger or hatred.
“Let your hope make you glad, be patient in time of trouble, and never stop praying.” Romans 12:12
