Let Go And Let God
Trust in Him
Sometimes (okay most of the time) blog topics come to me in the most unconventional ways. My mom texted me a couple Saturdays back, the text went like this.
“Silly Blog Idea: go with your humid hair, especially on a Saturday, let your hair be as God intended (blew dry it and it was a waste of time)”.
Being the supportive mother that she is, she is always on the look out for new topics for to write about and this text was no different. Simply put, this was about living through God’s intentions.
This is extremely hard to do, I will admit first hand, especially because I don’t have the greatest level of patients. However, I do try to remember to leave it in his hands on a daily basis. Whether it something as small as how I will do my hair that day, based on what God is planning for the weather or a major life decision, for example moving back to Michigan.
Growing up in a devout Catholic family, I have been taught from a very young age to trust in God’s plans. Now growing up, I have turned to God in much different ways. I think that is the amazing thing about trusting and letting God, he is flexible and understanding. As we grow and mature in life and with our faith, God happily make adjustment accordingly, in our best interest of course.
The more I develop my faith, the deeper I am able to see God’s plan, although it can be cloudy to see what he has intended at that particular time, he absolutely has grand intentions. Trust in him. Let go & let God.
