How to Become More Intentional in the 5 Areas of Your Life

What it means to be intentional

Being intentional means acting with awareness and purpose, to achieve a desired outcome. When we are intentional we are able to:

  • • Have more effective communication
  • • Personal growth
  • • Building relationships
  • • Maximizing resources
  • • Enhancing well-being

When we picture our lives there are many categories that are important, be we are narrowing it down to the top five:

  1. Friendships – Implement check-ins, express your appreciation for having them in your life, and spend quality time without distractions to be present. 
  2. Family (Fur children included!)– Practice active listening, off your support for what they’re going through, spend quality time. 
  3. Health & Wellbeing – Self reflect, set achievable goals, and establish boundaries for your well being to see your self-love, health, confidence grow. 
  4. Career – Set clear goals and objectives for meetings, prioritize the most important tasks, and build intentional relationships in the workplace.
  5. You Time – Make time for the things that bring your genuine happiness and joy.
Questions to ask yourself to help you with your goals

Set intentions for these areas of your life and see how your confidence blooms! And you set goals, it’s important to check in with yourself and ask yourself questions to help guide you:

  • • What is my intention for today?
  • • What do I hope to achieve?
  • • How can I be supportive today?
  • • Does this help me reach my goals?
  • • Does that make me happy?
